Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Storage Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Storage Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing storage systems to meet the needs of our customers.

Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing effective storage solutions that ensure high-performance, scalability, and reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions that meet those needs.

You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and participate in shaping the direction of our storage solutions.

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Design and implement storage systems that meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements
  • Develop and maintain documentation for storage systems, including design documents, test plans, and release notes
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate storage systems into larger applications
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues with storage systems, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in storage systems engineering, including design, implementation, and optimization
  • Strong knowledge of storage protocols (e.g., iSCSI, Fibre Channel), file systems (e.g., NFS, CIFS), and database management systems
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
