Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced software developer to join our tech team. The successful candidate will work on complex data integration, processing, and automation challenges.

  • Develop strategies and technology that optimize data storage, ensure high availability, and prevent data loss or disconnection.
  • Contribute to architectural design and decisions.
  • Improve products by developing new functionalities or enhancing existing ones.
  • Manage and improve CI/CD procedures.
  • Identify and implement improvements that reduce technical debt and enable the team to iterate faster.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions for various use cases.
  • Identify and address performance and scalability issues.
  • Mentor junior developers through code review, pair programming, and training.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of excellence.
  • Participate in Agile development cycles and SCRUM meetings.
  • Develop proposals for integrating value-added software solutions.
  • Write secure, scalable, testable code using modern best practices and technologies.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform tests to ensure backend applications are optimized.
  • Advise on methods to enhance performance & architecture of existing databases.
  • Advise on best practices and procedures for database management, storage, maintenance, backup, archive, & cleanup.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, advocating for innovation and driving technical excellence within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in programming languages: Python, JavaScript, .NET (C#, VB.Net, etc.), JAVA.
  • Knowledge of databases: SQL, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, NoSQL (like MongoDB), Graph databases (like GraphDB).
  • Experience with reporting tools: Power BI, Grafana.
  • Knowledge of REST, SOAP APIs.
  • DevOps experience is beneficial.
  • Cloud IoT platforms like Microsoft Azure or Thingsboard are a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 7 years of professional experience.
