Job Title: Business Analyst

Generic Job Role: Business analyst is required for Identity and Access Management (IAM) department

QUALIFICATION: Degree in Business, Information Technology or Computer Science

Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in customer support and technical administration

Nature of Experience: Customer Support/Technical Support/Access Admin/BA

Job Purpose

  • We seek a skilled business analyst with 5–8 years of experience in IAM, focusing on manual discovery of Identity Provider (IDP) and API Gateway usage.
  • This role requires gathering data from application teams, documenting API credential lifecycles, and enforcing governance rules. The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A good understanding of IDP concepts, API authentication, and credential management
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, analysis, and documentation skills
  • These skills will be applied across various business analyst assignments within the IAM domain.

Broad Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with team members globally.

2. Lead manual discovery of IDP and API gateway usage.

3. Reach out to application teams, consolidate collected information, and build an accurate inventory of IDP/API usage.

4. Use questionnaires to capture details on authentication methods, credential lifecycles, and governance gaps.

5. Primary focus: understand and document how API credentials and authentication lifecycles are managed across applications.

6. After completing this discovery phase, move on to process documentation, operationalization, and supporting governance enforcement.

7. Prepare for integration into future centralized technical solutions.

8. Work with IAM architects, product owners, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable and compliant onboarding solutions.

9. Support go-live activities, post-deployment troubleshooting, and periodic access automation validation checks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Intermediate knowledge of IT Information Security
  • Good understanding of IAM control reviews
  • Experience in user access administration models on various Applications
  • Experience in IAM projects, particularly around IDP and API security.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodology
  • Effective communication and coordination with stakeholders
  • Good experience in managing application & infrastructure related issues.
  • Good knowledge in project planning and risk management
  • Escalation management and Stakeholder management
  • Preferred Knowledge:
  • Understanding of IDP and API authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, API keys).
  • Knowledge of API credential lifecycle and governance practices.
  • Ability to conduct manual discovery, engage stakeholders, and capture complex technical flows.
  • Basic knowledge of IDP concepts is acceptable; deeper expertise can be developed during the project.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and data gathering capabilities.
