Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management and excellent communication skills.

About the Role:

  • This role requires a deep understanding of hotel operations and the ability to effectively manage multiple facets of the business.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, guest experience, maintenance and engineering, security and safety.
  • A strong leadership and supervisory style is essential for managing a team of staff and ensuring that all aspects of the hotel run smoothly.
  • The ability to handle and resolve any issues that arise, including guest complaints and operational problems, is critical.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Hotel Operations Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring that all departments are running efficiently.
  2. Leadership and Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of staff, providing guidance and support where needed.
  3. Problem Solving and Escalation: Identify and resolve any issues that arise, including guest complaints and operational problems.
  4. Collaboration with Other Departments: Regularly communicate with other departments, such as local police, health and safety departments, and local vendors, to maintain good relationships and ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Hospitality or related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a hotel, hostel, or guest house.
  • Operational knowledge of hotel operations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and time-management skills.
  • Flexible to relocate within southern India.
