We are looking for a skilled and experienced Application Support Engineer to join our team.

Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the infrastructure and identifying any performance issues. This includes regularly checking vital server parameters such as CPU, memory, hard disk size, log size, and other key metrics.

  • You will report any details of performance issues to the appropriate teams if they exceed certain thresholds.
  • Monitoring scheduled tasks on the system and ensuring they have been successfully completed.
  • Rerunning tasks that have failed and reporting technical errors to L2/L3 teams for resolution.
  • Monitoring email, Teams channels, and ticketing systems for new items/tickets and updating them with initial responses.
  • Gathering more details from business/end-users and other teams as required on tickets.
  • Reproducing issues in testing environments and providing inputs to L2 team members.
  • Validating issue fixes in internal testing environments based on customer inputs given.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3+ years of customer-facing experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing either application or infrastructure support at L1 level.
  • SailPoint or IAM system support experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience in both oral and written responses to customers within defined SLA.
  • Handling customer-related queries on system functionality and providing required support.
  • Customer issue-based validation experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical background in Java/Scripting would be an added advantage.
