Data Governance Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned data governance professional to spearhead the implementation of Microsoft Purview solutions across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Purview solutions for data governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Develop and implement data classification, labeling, and protection policies across Microsoft 365, hybrid, and cloud-native environments.
- Configure and manage DLP, insider risk management, records management, and eDiscovery in Purview.
- Integrate Purview with Microsoft Defender, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, and Exchange for end-to-end compliance enforcement.
- Conduct thorough assessments of current data estates, identify compliance gaps, and propose remediation strategies.
- Support data cataloging, lineage tracking, and metadata management to strengthen governance.
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and business teams to ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation, training, and adoption workshops.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Purview and its integrations.
