Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented professional to manage the development and execution of enterprise-wide data governance initiatives. This role will be instrumental in ensuring that data is managed as a strategic asset, supporting privacy compliance, data quality, and ethical data use across the organization.

The ideal candidate for this role has a blend of Data Governance, Data Privacy, and Compliance experiences. They will partner with business and technology leaders to shape, guide, and advance an enterprise-wide data governance framework that ensures data accuracy, accessibility, consistency, and security.

This role requires a strong understanding of data governance principles, practices, and technologies, including industry leading data governance tools and metadata management. The ideal candidate should have experience working with cross-functional teams and leadership to create program awareness and drive issue resolution and escalation.

  • Data Ownership and Stewardship: Define clear roles and responsibilities for data owners and stewards across business units.
  • Cross-Functional Stewardship Programs: Facilitate stewardship programs and councils to ensure accountability for authoritative data sources, data quality, accuracy, lineage, privacy, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement data quality standards, validation rules, and monitoring processes. Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to remediate data issues and improve trust in enterprise data assets.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in a related field, minimum of 5 years of related experience, proficiency in executing against well-defined procedures and processes, ability to create high-quality deliverables with minimal oversight, foundational technical expertise, and ability to multitask effectively and deal with change and ambiguity in a diverse and constantly evolving environment.
