Job Description

A Risk Management Specialist plays a vital role in our organization, leading the implementation of effective security practices and governance frameworks for clients.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in IT Governance, Risk & Compliance, with a proven ability to make sound pragmatic decisions and judgments under tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement client initiatives focused on reducing technology risk, governance, and compliance with policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate business and IT risks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain IT security standards, procedures, and controls to manage risks, improving client security positioning through process improvement, policy, automation, and continuous evolution of capabilities.
  • Support senior team members with analysis of requirements, design of clients' information security posture, as well as legal, regulatory, and scheme security requirements.
  • Deliver work streams for clients in compliance standards such as PCI DSS, ISO27001, EU GDPR, and Bahrain PDPL, and incident management disciplines.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in IT Governance, Risk & Compliance, with a strong understanding of ISO 27001, PCI DSS, ITIL, ITSM, and COBIT standards.

Experience with risk management principles and associated methodologies is essential, with certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISA, or CISM being highly desirable.

Strong interpersonal and influencing skills are also essential, with the ability to influence and drive change in a collaborative way both internally and externally.
