About the Role:
  • A site in-charge engineer is required to oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful project execution.
  2. Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including subcontractors and site staff, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  3. Monitor project budgets, control costs, and take necessary actions to ensure projects are completed within set parameters.
  4. Create and maintain project schedules, track progress, and implement changes as needed to keep projects on track for timely completion.
  5. Ensure that all work meets quality standards and specifications and implement quality control processes to prevent defects and rework.
  6. Enforce and promote a strong safety culture on the construction site, ensuring all work adheres to safety regulations and guidelines.
  7. Maintain open and transparent communication with clients, addressing concerns and providing regular project updates.
  8. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and delays.
  9. Maintain accurate project documentation, including all site-related records and project reports.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Site in-charge Engineer in the construction industry with a minimum of 9 years of successful project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Preparation and calculation of BBS and other quantities.
