Process Optimization Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Optimization Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending appropriate solutions.

  • Analyze and evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, such as cycle time, yield, and scrap rate, and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.
  • Implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Lead process validation activities, including protocol development, execution, and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.

Requirements

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in process engineering technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
