Process Engineer for Mass Transfer Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and developing column internals that improve mass transfer and separation processes.

  1. Key Responsibilities:
  2. Design and optimize column internals to enhance mass transfer efficiency.
  3. Conduct process simulations and calculations for distillation, absorption, and stripping applications.
  4. Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturing compatibility of internals.
  5. Perform hydraulic and efficiency calculations to recommend suitable internals for specific process requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Graduate in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
  2. 2-5 years of process design experience or equivalent in mass transfer, column internals manufacturing.
  3. Optional: Proficiency in process simulation tools such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or ChemCAD.
  4. Strong understanding of distillation, absorption, extraction, and phase separation principles.
  5. Knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat & mass transfer, thermodynamics, and pressure drop calculations.
  6. Experience with technical drawings and CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.
  7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  8. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and customers.
