As a senior engineering professional, you will take on a leadership role within our production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop feasibility studies and collaborate with the Structures Head for review and approval.
  • Work closely with the Hong Kong Team to create design specifications that meet employer requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Structures Head to agree and monitor project scope.
  • Define building requirements and purposes in collaboration with the Hong Kong Team and the Structures Head.
  • Lead the detailed design process according to client needs and standard codes.
  • Oversee calculation production, including quality assurance and technical reviews.
  • Ensure accurate project costing information is provided in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate contracts documents and facilitate input from team members.
  • Drive the design process and foster cost-effective solutions with your team.
  • Implement document control and QA processes to ensure proper issuance and filing of drawings and specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Building Structures design with significant background in a similar role or excellent track record.
  • Effective presentation skills are required.
  • Proficient in technical structural software such as RAM, CSC, ETABS, SAFE, and STAAD.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Fluent in English with a strong understanding of technical terminology.
  • Excellent management, communication, and technical skills are essential.

To be successful in this position, you should have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and be a member of an accredited engineering body. British Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is highly desirable. A minimum of 12 years' experience in a related field is required.
