Job Title

A Plant HR Leader is required to manage and maintain a productive workforce within the plant environment.

  • The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices that align with the company's overall strategy.
  • Key responsibilities include talent acquisition and onboarding, talent management and development, productivity and people innovation, and HR compliance and statutory obligations.
  • Additionally, the Plant HR Leader will work closely with operations teams to improve productivity and floor culture, reduce attrition, and increase associate engagement.

Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:

Ensure timely, high-quality hiring of personnel while managing manpower planning and deployment in liaison with Operations Heads.

  • Manage Talent Acquisition (via a team of recruiters) and Manpower Planning in line with Company goals.
  • Oversee Time-to-Offe, Time-to-Join, Conversion, Source Mix, Offer-to-Join Ratio, Cost-of-Hire, Manpower AOP Budget Adherence and other key TA metrics.
  • Lead Candidate Experience Agenda with Business and TA Teams and ensure High-Quality Interview Experiences.
  • Coordinate Employee Onboarding Process for all new hires and contractual workers.
  • Support Organization Staff by establishing Recruiting, Testing, and Interviewing Programs; counseling managers on candidate selection.

Productivity and People Innovation:

Collaborate with Ops Teams to drive Productivity and Floor Culture Improvements daily.

  • Develop frameworks to promote 5S Practices Adoption and Recognition.
  • Create Associate Value Propositions to enhance Engagement and Stickiness.
  • Partner with Ops Team to reduce Attrition and improve Workforce Retention.

HR Compliance and Statutory Obligations:

Ensure HR legal compliances through monitoring and implementation of applicable laws, maintaining records, and representing the organization at various HR associations.

  • Engage with Private Authorities and Statutory Bodies for Legal Matters Representation.
  • Lead Employee Engagement and Welfare, and Internal Complaints Committee initiatives.

Change Management and Culture Improvement:

Facilitate Change Management Efforts for the plant, focusing on Integration, Harmonization, and Cultural Shifts.
