Job Opportunity:

The Reading and Literature Program Lead will spearhead the development, implementation, and oversight of high-quality reading and literature programs. This role drives excellence in literacy instruction, fostering a deep appreciation for reading and critical analysis of texts across all relevant age groups or academic levels.

The successful candidate will champion evidence-based practices, curriculum innovation, and professional development to ensure all learners achieve strong reading comprehension, fluency, vocabulary, and literary analysis skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Independently drive the school's reading programs.
  2. Collaborate with teachers across the institution to ensure seamless implementation.
  3. Energize student engagement through innovative strategies.
  4. Promote parent and community initiatives, engaging them in our mission.
  5. Develop and manage documentation and communication systems to facilitate effective program execution.
  6. Actively implement school reading program initiatives and monitor progress in real-time.
  7. Generate reports and analyze data to inform program improvements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in English (Master's degree in language and literature preferred)
  • Experience: 2-5 years of progressive experience in teaching reading and literature at K-12 level

  • Data analysis, trend identification, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
