Job Summary

The Payroll Administrator position is responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and tax regulations. This role also involves coordinating with HR, handling payroll deductions, preparing reports, and responding to employee inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
  • Maintain payroll records and employee data in HRIS/payroll systems.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Coordinate with HR for employee onboarding/offboarding, promotions, and other payroll-impacting changes.
  • Handle payroll deductions, benefits, garnishments, bonuses, and other compensation-related components.
  • Prepare payroll reports for internal use and external audits.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and earnings.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, as well as 2+ years of payroll processing experience. Strong knowledge of payroll software and HRIS systems is essential, along with familiarity with local labor laws and payroll compliance regulations.

You should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Additionally, staying updated with changes in payroll laws and regulations is crucial for this role.
