
Leadership Position for Policy Innovation

The Policy Strategist is responsible for developing and implementing effective policy initiatives that support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of existing policies to propose amendments, renewals, or modifications that align with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure recommendations are well-informed and impactful.
- Monitor policy timelines to ensure no deadlines are missed, coordinate with relevant departments to gather insights and feedback, and prepare and submit comprehensive documents reflecting the organization's stance on policy matters.
- Organize and participate in meetings with industry and government stakeholders, present and advocate for the organization's viewpoints effectively, and build relationships to ensure favorable consideration of the organization's interests.
Success Factors:
- Strategic Research: Deep understanding of policy frameworks and industry trends to support well-founded recommendations.
- Effective Communication: Clear articulation of the organization's position to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and influence in policy discussions.
- Collaborative Leadership: Seamless coordination across internal teams and external partners to drive policy outcomes that benefit the organization.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field, with 7-10 years of experience.
- Experience as an ex-government employee, policy drafting, and working with government departments.
