Job Title: Technology Director for Hospitality Sector

We are looking for a seasoned technology leader to join our team as a Technology Director. This role requires strong executional leadership — ensuring IT infrastructure, applications, security, and digital projects run reliably and deliver business value.

The successful candidate will manage day-to-day delivery, vendors, and cross-functional partnerships to drive strategic growth in the hospitality sector.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Implement and support core hospitality applications (PMS, POS, CRM, HRMS, Finance) to improve guest experience, service consistency, and revenue processes.
  • Ensure seamless integration between property-level and enterprise systems for efficient operations.
  • Partner with business functions to enhance technology adoption and drive business outcomes.

Infrastructure, Security & Compliance

  • Oversee day-to-day IT infrastructure across multiple properties, ensuring network reliability and uptime.
  • Implement cybersecurity and compliance frameworks to maintain data integrity and regulatory adherence.
  • Maintain and test business continuity and disaster recovery protocols to ensure minimal downtime.

Project Delivery & Business Support

  • Lead the execution of IT projects (new rollouts, upgrades, integrations), ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery and measurable ROI.
  • Translate operational needs into IT deliverables, escalating strategic alignment issues to the Head of IT.
  • Ensure effective vendor management, SLA governance, and stakeholder engagement.

Team Leadership & Capability Development

  • Lead a team of 6–8 IT professionals, ensuring service orientation, performance, and growth.
  • Develop digital literacy programs for Hotel Managers and frontline teams to enhance technology adoption.
  • Foster a collaborative culture that ensures smooth adoption of technology solutions.

Innovation & Digital Enablement

  • Execute guest-facing digital initiatives (mobile check-in, self-service kiosks, digital concierge) to enhance the customer experience.
  • Leverage analytics to provide actionable operational insights and inform business decisions.
  • Champion green IT practices at the operational level (cloud adoption, paperless workflows, energy-efficient solutions).

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 15 years of IT leadership experience, with exposure to multi-property Hospitality, Travel, or Related Service Industries.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality applications (PMS, POS, CRM, HRMS, Finance platforms).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage distributed IT operations and deliver complex projects.
  • Hands-on understanding of cybersecurity and compliance in India, with knowledge of GDPR and other country privacy compliance an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in vendor management and SLA governance.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with ability to work across Operations, HR, Finance, and Marketing.
  • Team-oriented leader who can execute effectively under the strategic direction of Head IT.
