Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cash Handling Specialist to manage customer transactions efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and a solid understanding of point-of-sale systems.

  • Manage customer transactions using point-of-sale systems.
  • Scan goods and verify pricing accuracy.
  • Collect payments in cash or credit and issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets.
  • Cross-sell products and introduce new ones to customers.
  • Resolve customer complaints and provide guidance and information as needed.
  • Greet customers entering or leaving the store and maintain clean, tidy checkout areas.
  • Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.
  • Handle merchandise returns and exchanges.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Work experience as a Customer Service Representative or in a similar sales role.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Familiarity with electronic equipment such as point-of-sale systems.
  • Strong math skills and basic Excel knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • A customer satisfaction-oriented mindset.
