Project Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Lead Mechanical Project Coordinator to join our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review drawings received from clients and calculate the scope of work\r
  • Verify material requirements for the scope of work and materials received at the yard\r
  • Plan and schedule project targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis\r
  • Review inspection and testing plans and follow industry standards\r
  • Prepare procurement requests for materials\r
  • Review vendor proposals for specifications and quantity\r
  • Maintain inventory control charts and reconcile free-issued materials\r
  • Coordinate manpower and tools/equipment at the site\r

Requirements:

  • \r
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role\r
  • Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering from a reputable institution\r
  • Additional qualifications in piping engineering and design are preferred\r
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel\r
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD\r
  • ASNT Level II qualifications in RT/UT/MPI and LPT\r
