Job Title: Administrative Officer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to join our team at Podar Education Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administrative duties at our schools, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment for students and faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Principal and General Manager in carrying out cross-functional administrative duties.
  2. Handle queries and grievances of parents.
  3. Manage physical infrastructure facilities, cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
  4. Maintenance of school records.
  5. Manage canteen facilities.
  6. Manage books and stationery, purchase, and distribution.
  7. Manage the complete transport department and related gamut.
  8. Liaison with government agencies, organizations, and neighboring societies.
  9. Facilities management and general administration.
  10. Management of school infrastructure and assets.
  11. Administrative arrangements of various school programs.
  12. Supervision of housekeeping and security.
  13. Manage essential services like water, electricity, and others.
  14. Manage budgets, logistics, and events or meetings.
  15. Coordinating with the accountant for fees recovery.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Education or a similar field (post-graduate degree is a plus).
  • Proven experience as a School Administrator.
  • Knowledge of administrative processes of schools.
  • Outstanding organizational ability.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Good English communication skills and IT skills.
  • Ability to upgrade oneself technically and technologically from time to time.
  • Good judgment and decision-making aptitude.
  • Flexible and agile.
