Job Title: OCI Cloud Administrator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled OCI Cloud Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure and highly available OCI environments for our applications and services.
  • Manage complete OCI Administration with a strong understanding of Tenancy, VCN, Compartments, Network Layers, and handling firewalls, subnet, storage options, FSS, Block Volume, Object Storage.
  • Administer OCI infrastructure including installation, configuration, migrations, tuning, patching, administration & monitoring.
  • Write and modify Terraform scripts for application deployments on OCI and managing OCI Infrastructure.
  • Perform performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as needed and ensure high availability of infrastructure.
  • Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure/add new services as necessary.
  • Work with Network Security Groups, Bastion Hosts as a Service Sessions, and Public Load Balancer provisioning.
  • Provision storage, compute nodes, network, and understand requirements for the same.
  • Experience with IaaS solutions: virtual machines/networks, on-premise/hybrid cloud computing, cloud identity, security models, cloud monitoring, logging, local and cloud storage.
  • Handle Certificate renewals on OCI.
  • Understand and have hands-on experience of HA architecture in an OCI environment.
  • Strong understanding of HA concepts in DR and setting up on Infrastructure for DR Site.
  • Migrate data and applications using migration tools.
  • Manage performance management and Cost optimization.
  • Analyze solution designs that accompany business requirements for technical delivery.
  • Assist in design decisions, develop and implement cloud solutions.
  • Exposure to code repository like GIT.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certified OCI Architect Associate/Professional(Mandatory)
  • Certified OCI Migration and Integration Specialist (Preferred)
  • Certified OCI Security Associate/Professional (Preferred)
  • Certified OCI Cloud Operations Associate (Preferred)
