Cloud Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design and implement cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing principles and be able to architect, deploy, and optimize Azure-based solutions including compute, storage, networking, and security services.

This role will lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives with an emphasis on Azure technologies, develop and maintain infrastructure as code using modern DevOps practices, and implement and manage containerized workloads using AKS and EKS.

The successful candidate will establish and enforce cloud security standards and best practices across environments, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated deployments, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments
  • Architect, deploy, and optimize Azure-based solutions including compute, storage, networking, and security services
  • Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives with an emphasis on Azure technologies
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using modern DevOps practices
  • Implement and manage containerized workloads using AKS and EKS
  • Establish and enforce cloud security standards and best practices across environments
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated deployments
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering/architecture roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure, plus working knowledge of AWS and GCP platforms
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes orchestration, particularly AKS, with knowledge of EKS
  • Experience with Karpenter, ArgoCD, and Istio in container environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud security principles and implementations
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud networking concepts and solutions
  • Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (particularly Terraform, Azure ARM templates, and AWS CloudFormations)
  • Self-driven work ethic with ability to manage complex projects independently
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
