Senior Vessel Procurement Specialist

The Marine Technical Purchaser will be responsible for sourcing and procuring spare parts, consumables, and technical equipment for vessels. They will identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and high-quality products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing procurement budgets and identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising on quality or safety.
- Ensuring accurate and timely order placement, tracking, and follow-ups.
- Coordinating with logistics and supply chain teams to arrange timely delivery of goods to vessels at ports worldwide.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of vessel maintenance and dry-docking requirements, as well as familiarity with international maritime regulations. Proficiency in procurement and inventory management software is also highly desirable.
Key skills required for this role include:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
