Electronics Sourcing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Sourcing Specialist to join our organization. As a key member of the procurement team, you will play a pivotal role in securing top-quality electronic components and materials.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of electronic component sourcing, Bill of Materials (BOM) analysis, and supplier communication. You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing BOMs to generate accurate quotes for prototype and bulk production, sourcing active and passive components, PCBs, and electronic parts globally, building and managing vendor relationships, negotiating pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules, collaborating with engineering, production, and logistics teams to align procurement with project timelines, and using software tools to manage procurement processes and maintain accurate data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze Bills of Materials (BOMs) to generate accurate quotes for prototype and bulk production.
  • Source active and passive components, PCBs, and electronic parts globally.
  • Build and manage vendor relationships; evaluate supplier performance and reliability.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules to ensure project success.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics teams to align procurement with project timelines.
  • Use software tools (ERP or similar) to manage procurement processes and maintain accurate data.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of sourcing/procurement experience in an electronics manufacturing services company.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components, BOM-based quoting, and global sourcing strategies.
  • Familiarity with procurement software tools (ERP or equivalent platforms).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
  • Exposure to international sourcing and import/export compliance.
  • Knowledge of standards such as RoHS, IPC, and ISO.
