Job Overview

This role focuses on procuring electronic components from various suppliers while minimizing risks.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop electronic products at an electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider.
  • Analyze electronic manufacturing processes and quality control measures.
  • Implement strategies to reduce supplier base risks through strategic sourcing for electronic components.
  • Sourcing alternative components and vendors, managing parts inventory, and negotiating rates as needed.
  • Purchasing electronic parts and overseeing their management.
  • Negotiating rates and revising costs accordingly.
  • Utilizing SAP and advanced Excel skills to inform procurement decisions.
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing projects to reduce costs.
  • Making informed decisions with an agile approach.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics or a related field.
  • 4-10 years of experience in the field of electronics distribution, manufacturing, and product costing.
  • Strong knowledge of electronics distributions, manufacturing processes, and product costing principles.
