Marine Structure Expert

We are seeking an experienced Coastal Infrastructure Specialist to lead our marine infrastructure projects in Trivandrum, Kerala. This is a prime opportunity for individuals with a deep understanding of coastal structures and a passion for sustainable development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and construction of coastal structures including breakwaters, jetties, quay walls, and docks for major port projects.
  • Provide expert advice in coastal engineering to optimize the performance, stability, and sustainability of port infrastructure.
  • Conduct advanced structural and geotechnical assessments to ensure the long-term durability and stability of coastal structures under varying tidal and wave conditions.
  • Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful execution of coastal construction works.
  • Ensure construction processes meet environmental regulations and safety standards to minimize impacts on the coastal ecosystem.
  • Provide on-site guidance, troubleshooting, and decision-making during the construction phase.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in coastal structure design, construction, and project execution.
  • Post Graduate degree in Coastal Engineering or equivalent with a strong academic foundation in coastal and marine principles.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in coastal or marine construction working on breakwater systems, jetties, seawalls, and other port infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in coastal engineering software for designing and simulating coastal structures.
  • Strong knowledge of coastal processes including hydrodynamics, wave modeling, and sediment transport.
  • Experience with risk management and ability to develop cost-effective solutions for coastal infrastructure.
  • Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering large-scale projects on time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.E. (Civil Engineering), M.Tech or M.Sc. (Coastal Engineering).
  • Experience in working on port development projects or coastal infrastructure projects in Kerala or similar coastal regions.
  • Familiarity with local environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
