Expert hydrographic surveyor with extensive experience in port and marine infrastructure projects. Possesses a Survey Recorder Class I or Class II qualification and has a strong background in conducting detailed surveys for coastal development projects.

The ideal candidate must have expertise in hydrographic surveying, bathymetric data collection, and marine geospatial analysis. Key responsibilities include conducting detailed bathymetric surveys, planning and executing hydrographic survey work, analyzing survey data, and generating reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed bathymetric surveys, including depth measurement, sub-bottom profiling, and current measurements.
  • Plan and execute hydrographic survey work, ensuring accurate data collection for project design, construction, and environmental assessments.
  • Analyze survey data and generate reports, maps, and charts for stakeholders.
  • Operate and maintain advanced hydrographic survey equipment, including echo sounders and multibeam sonar systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers, environmental specialists, and project managers to integrate survey data into project plans.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • More than 10 years of experience in hydrographic surveying, particularly in port and coastal infrastructure projects.
  • Survey Recorder Class I or Class II qualification.
  • Detailed knowledge of surveying methods used for port development and bathymetric surveys.
  • Proficiency in hydrographic software such as CARIS and HYPACK.
