This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Structural Engineer to lead the design, analysis and execution of key structural components for port infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in structural engineering with a focus on marine and port infrastructure, as well as project management skills and proficiency in structural engineering software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Lead Structural Engineering for Port Projects: Take charge of the design, analysis, and execution of key structural components for port infrastructure, including breakwaters, jetties, quays, docks, and seawalls.">
  • Project Management Consultancy (PMC): Provide technical leadership and oversight for the execution of port infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.">
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with contractors, consultants, government agencies, and other engineers to ensure seamless coordination and integration of structural designs into the overall project.">
  • Risk & Safety Management: Oversee the risk mitigation strategies and safety measures, ensuring that all structural designs and construction work comply with regulatory guidelines and safety standards.">
  • Site Supervision & Quality Assurance: Supervise construction activities on-site, providing technical guidance, resolving issues, and ensuring high-quality standards for structural integrity and sustainability.">
  • Design Optimization: Implement advanced structural engineering principles to optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, resilience, and environmental sustainability.">
  • Project Documentation & Reporting: Prepare progress reports, design reviews, and technical documentation for stakeholders, ensuring transparency and compliance with all contractual requirements.">

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on marine and port infrastructure, with significant PMC experience.">
  • Post Graduate degree in Structural Engineering, specializing in marine structures or coastal engineering.">
  • Proven experience in project management of large-scale port projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and managing multidisciplinary teams.">
  • Proficiency in structural engineering software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, and other tools for design and analysis.">
  • Strong understanding of marine structures, including their response to wave forces, tide variations, sediment movement, and marine environmental conditions.">
  • Ability to lead and manage teams, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and ensure project milestones are met.">
  • Expertise in contract management, procurement, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and environmental standards.">
  • Excellent communication skills to present design concepts and project progress to stakeholders and clients.">
