The Revenue Manager is a pivotal role in the hospitality industry, responsible for maximizing guest satisfaction and driving financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Proactively supports the smooth running of the revenue management department, where all aspects of hotel reservations and meeting & events enquiries are managed and handled.
- Guest Satisfaction: Works proactively to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and responsive approach to enquiries and problem resolution.
- Strategy Development: Develops and implements strategies where key revenue management metrics are identified, communicated and delivered.
- Team Management: Effectively manages the life cycle of the team within the department, fostering a culture of growth, development and performance.
- Budget Control: Responsible for controlling costs and inventory, ensuring productivity and performance levels are attained.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
- Business Performance Review: Reviews and scrutinizes the business performance, providing recommendations that will drive financial performance.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in revenue management with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Managerial Skills: Excellent managerial skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.
- Creative Solutions: Ability to find creative solutions, offering advice and recommendations.
- Personal Integrity: Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy.
- IT Systems: Experienced in using IT systems on various platforms.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills.
