Job Title: Senior Operations Director

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Operations Director to lead our company's operations and drive growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies, setting performance goals, and establishing policies that promote our company culture and vision.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement operational strategies and plans to achieve business objectives
  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth, and evaluate progress regularly
  • Establish policies and procedures to promote a culture of excellence and innovation
  • Oversee daily operations and lead a team of executives in various departments
  • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Collaborate with the CEO to drive fundraising efforts and expansion activities
  • Manage relationships with partners and vendors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Proven experience in senior leadership roles, with a focus on operations management
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience developing and implementing operational strategies and initiatives
  • Knowledge of business process optimization, supply chain management, and logistics
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in the ship repair & upgradation, shipbuilding, defence technology, equipment sales & services, and weapons & electronics industries
  • Familiarity with maritime regulations and safety standards
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and ISO standards
