Physiotherapist Job Description

We are seeking highly skilled physiotherapists to join our practice in Chennai, India. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum B.PT. or equivalent qualification and be willing to work with various departments, including orthopedics, neurology, and pediatrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical limitations and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Treatment Planning: Create and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Use manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and other interventions to improve patient outcomes.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Continuously monitor patient progress and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans.
  • Patient and Caregiver Education: Educate patients and caregivers on proper techniques for rehabilitation and injury prevention.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Assistive Device Support: Provide training and support on the use of assistive devices to improve patient mobility and independence.
Requirements:
  • Strong Knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology: Possess a deep understanding of human anatomy and physiology to inform treatment decisions.
  • Clinical Assessment and Diagnostic Skills: Demonstrate expertise in clinical assessment and diagnostic skills to accurately diagnose and treat patients.
  • Manual Therapy and Therapeutic Exercise Expertise: Possess advanced knowledge of manual therapy and therapeutic exercise techniques to improve patient outcomes.
  • Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Develop strong relationships with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and Patient-Centered Approach: Prioritize patient-centered care and demonstrate empathy and compassion in all interactions.
  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient cases and develop innovative solutions.
  • Documentation and Report Writing: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
  • Adaptability and Teamwork: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced team environment and prioritize teamwork to achieve common goals.
  • Time Management and Organizational Skills: Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
  • Basic Tech Skills for Therapy Equipment and Record Management: Possess basic technical skills to operate therapy equipment and manage electronic medical records.
