About us, an established special school in Chennai, provides special education and vocational training for children and adults with various disabilities.
Our multidisciplinary team includes physiotherapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy professionals.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist Therapist to join our team, specifically to work with students who have learning difficulties.
This role involves providing specialized therapeutic support to enhance the well-being and development of our pupils.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver tailored sessions to meet each child's developmental level and physical needs.
- Provide support for physical access and mobility within the environment.
- Monitor progress and outcomes using evidence-based tools.
Required skills and qualifications include:
- 3 to 7 years working with children and adults with multiple disabilities
- Degree in relevant field (BSc or MSc) and professional registration
- Manual Handling and Safeguarding Children
- Knowledge of conditions affecting motor development and experience with specialist equipment
