Job Title: Area Business Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage and grow existing customer portfolios in the agri space.

  • Manage a team of Portfolio Managers to grow existing customer portfolios in Agri SME space.
  • Acceptable knowledge of respective geography and ability to quickly recruit quality team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong and robust customer base to increase assets and liabilities while providing high standards of service.
  • Deepen relationships with existing customers through cross-selling liability and third-party products.
  • Regularly monitor accounts to ensure no delinquencies, portfolio hygiene, post-disbursement deferrals, and closure in time.
  • Engage with Credit, Risk, legal, technical teams, RCAD, GR, and internal bank channels for customer requirements.
  • Improve efficiency by monitoring and suggesting process improvements based on ground reality and market trends.

Requirements:

  • CA, Post Graduate Diploma, or Post Graduate in Banking and Finance, Commerce etc.
  • Strong oral and written communication, relationship management, leadership skills.
  • Local market knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in SME funding and portfolio management.
