Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Area Manager to join our team at Castrol in Jaipur, India. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for delivering shared business objectives, including volume and gross margin performance targets, as well as other activation targets.

The role requires strong customer management capabilities, good communication skills, and the ability to work closely with others. You will also be expected to travel extensively within the region, up to 25% of the time, and may be required to relocate within the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workshop development: Develop local area business plans, define target workshops, coverage, sales targets, and activities.
  • Workshop management: Understand and build relationships with customers, gain dedication for proposed activities, and support the implementation of company strategies to maintain good relationships with existing customers.
  • Customer and market insights: Handle updated databases, maintain close relationships locally, understand customer needs and competitor approaches, and provide feedback to the company.
  • Heavy Duty: Increase profitable growth of Castrol brands with a focus on premium products and HD strategic segments, both direct and indirect sales models.

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing global or regional key accounts.
  • Ability to demonstrate gravitas and proven credibility as a sales professional.
  • Ability to operate at a senior level within customer organizations and manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of the OEM and franchised dealer environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in sales and marketing (preferred).
  • 6 years of sales and marketing experience.

Travel Requirement: Up to 25% travel is expected for this role. Relocation assistance is available for relocation within the country. This position is not available for remote working.
