Financial Accountant Job Overview

The role of Financial Accountant is crucial to ensuring the financial well-being and stability of a company. This position requires strong accounting skills, including financial statement preparation, account management, payroll processing, and compliance with tax regulations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and management of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • End-to-end account management, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliation.
  • Payroll processing and employee payment management, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Support internal and external audits, providing financial information and documentation as required.
  • Compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements, including GST, PF, TCS, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and payroll software, including Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of accounting experience in the IT industry, preferably with a background in financial analysis and planning.
  • Proficiency in accounting and payroll software, with experience in using tools such as Excel, Access, and SAP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
