Job Title: IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our distributed team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT systems and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Incident Resolution: Resolve production incidents and user queries in a timely manner.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis using UI behavior, specification documents, and database data analysis to identify and resolve issues.
  • Defect Tracking: Track and resolve defects to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Issue Reproduction: Reproduce issues and propose workarounds to minimize downtime.
  • Communication: Communicate with technical teams and clients on issue resolution to ensure seamless collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • IT Systems Experience: 4+ years of experience in IT systems.
  • Data Analysis: Advanced SQL skills for data analysis.
  • Technical Tools: Proficiency in Shell, Git, Splunk, and New Relic.
  • Microsoft Office: Comfortable with Excel functions.
Preferred Skills:
  • Pega and Cloud Platforms: Pega, Kubernetes, Docker.
  • Java and Integration: Oracle, Java, dBusJMS, Java Message Service (JMS), REST API, XML.
  • Automation Tools: Experience with Ansible.
  • Jenkins and CI/CD: Basic experience with Jenkins.
Work Environment:

This is a distributed team environment spread throughout various locations. We operate using an Agile methodology (Scrum) and have a team setup that includes Oracle, Java, QA, Analyst, and PM.
