Lead the Way in Billing Operations

BNY Mellon is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Billing Operations team as a Director, Billing Manager. This role is a key part of our Billing function, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our billing processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of billing professionals and support staff to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement policies to ensure client satisfaction and lead key initiatives.
  • Maintain familiarity with industry best practices and seek opportunities to implement as appropriate.
  • Manage the performance of assigned staff, coaching and guiding on project management.
  • Set strategic priorities on initiatives designed to improve Billing processes.
  • Participate in long-term or strategic planning for the Billing function to improve the overall client experience and team productivity and quality.
  • Track and report on performance of Billing area, coaching and guiding assigned staff on improving the execution of invoice production and achievement of goals.
  • Resolve complex issues, roadblocks, or inquiries from senior-level or key individuals at clients, as needed.
  • Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth, and ability to function effectively with colleagues as a team.
  • Provide feedback at critical times.
  • Maintain relationships with senior business and sales leaders to report trends and needs.
  • May provide forward-looking and strategic insight on Billing processes and issues to support the business.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Plus years of total work experience with at least - plus years of management preferred.
  • Experience in financial services preferred.
  • Experience in Billing Operations or any Billing Product like ORMB would be an added advantage.
