The Motilal Oswal Centre for Capital Markets is an initiative supported by Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd. and housed at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. The Centre focuses on education, research, training, and innovation in financial markets, fintech, quantitative finance, and investment management.

Job Purpose:

  • The Program Director will lead strategic, academic, and operational initiatives of the Centre.
  • The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader with experience in academia, research management, or the financial services industry, capable of building interdisciplinary collaborations and driving impactful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
  • Formulate and execute the long-term vision and strategy of the Centre.
  • Develop programs and initiatives aligned with the Centre's mandate in financial markets research and education.
Education and Research Program Management:
  • Support research projects, working papers, and publications in financial markets and related areas.
  • Support faculty-led research, student engagement, and visiting scholar initiatives.
  • Organize training programs, workshops, seminars, conferences, and certificate courses.
Industry and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build partnerships with financial institutions, statutory bodies, regulatory institutions, industry associations, and other organizations.
  • Organize seminars, panel discussions, and talks/lectures by industry experts.
Operational Oversight:
  • Manage day-to-day administration of the Centre, including budgeting, reporting, and resource planning.
  • Supervise support staff, interns, and research associates.
Communication and Outreach:
  • Oversee the Centre's visibility, including publications, newsletters, and website updates.
  • Represent the Centre at conferences, academic forums, and industry meetings.
