Role Overview

This is a full-time position for a Modern Trade Sales Manager located in Mumbai. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing business plans for modern trade channels. They must have experience handling multiple states, including Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business plans for modern trade channels.
  • Implement strategies for increasing market share through brand awareness and advertising campaigns.
  • Map opportunity markets and identify relevant tea category products using data mining techniques.

Sales & Channel Management

  • Manage sales and channel partnerships with modern trade clients, vendors, and business partners.
  • Negotiate contracts with new vendors and clients while terminating contracts when necessary.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth domestic business operations.

Relationship & Stakeholder Management

  • Develop and manage relationships with modern trade clients, vendors, and business partners.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with agencies and customers to ensure smooth operations.

Marketing & Brand Development

  • Implement brand awareness campaigns and product launches in modern trade channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to drive advertising and promotional activities.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare financial reports detailing sales performance, ROI, and profit margins.
  • Analyze market trends and customer data to inform business decisions.

Cross-functional Coordinations

  • Manage the supply chain process from procurement to shipment to customer delivery.
