Project Planning Leader

As a seasoned Project Planning Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading project planning activities across multiple projects. Your expertise will be crucial in developing detailed baseline schedules using Primavera (P6)/MS Project and monitoring progress against timelines.

  • Develop detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and milestones.
  • Integrate planning inputs from design, procurement, contracts, and site teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Forecast resource and material requirements, working closely with the project team to optimize project delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project delays and risks, providing revised planning strategies to ensure project success.
  • Present project planning dashboards and management information system (MIS) reports to senior management, highlighting key project metrics and trends.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel-based tracking tools is essential for this role.
  • A strong understanding of the construction lifecycle, bill of quantities (BOQ), contracts, and project costing principles is necessary.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills are required to drive project success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary to identify and mitigate project risks and delays.

Preferred Background:

  • Experience in large-scale real estate, townships, commercial, or infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with high-rise, plotted, and mixed-use developments is an added advantage.
