Project Planning and Control Lead

As a seasoned project planning professional, you will lead project planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities across multiple projects. Your expertise in developing detailed baseline schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project and monitoring progress against timelines is essential for driving project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate planning inputs from design, procurement, contracts, and site teams.
  • Forecast resource and material requirements in coordination with the project team to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Identify and analyze project delays, risks, and provide mitigation strategies with revised planning to minimize impact on project timelines.
  • Present planning dashboards and management information system (MIS) reports to senior management to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Support in project budgeting, cost control, and cash flow planning to ensure financial stability and sustainability.
  • Ensure project progress is aligned with statutory, contractual, and quality requirements to maintain high standards of project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel-based tracking tools to drive project planning and execution.
  • Strong understanding of construction lifecycle, bill of quantities (BOQ), contracts, and project costing to inform planning decisions.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills to foster collaboration and teamwork.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability to identify and mitigate project risks and delays.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities.

Preferred Background:

  • Experience in large-scale real estate, townships, commercial, or infrastructure projects to apply knowledge and skills gained in similar contexts.
  • Exposure to high-rise, plotted, and mixed-use developments to understand the complexities and challenges associated with these types of projects.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as RERA timelines, project financing schedules, and PMC collaboration to navigate compliance and regulatory requirements effectively.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, and other relevant software tools to support project planning and execution.
  • Construction lifecycle, BOQ, contracts, and project costing to inform planning decisions.
  • Leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination to foster collaboration and teamwork.
  • Analytical and problem-solving to identify and mitigate project risks and delays.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders and teams.
