ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Vision is to provide a great Customer Experience through On Time In Full deliveries to >98% of our
customers. We deliver this while being cost efficient through optimal supply-network, system automations
and through excellent vendor partnerships. We play a central role in delivering on our aspiration to reach 12
million students.
**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Demand Planning:**
● Lead the monthly S&OP process with leadership across departments
● Build and refine demand forecasts using historical trends, market drivers, and sales/marketing inputs
● Support annual and monthly business planning processes through volume and value forecasting
● Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to create accurate and consensus-driven
forecasts
● Report KPIs and forecast accuracy metrics to senior leadership
Supply Planning:
● Design and implement inventory strategies for both existing and new SKUs
● Decide on the optimum procurement lot size basis cost and working capital considerations
● Ensure timely and cost-efficient product distribution to distributors and schools
● Build and optimize LEAD's distribution network to reduce turnaround time and logistics cost
● Manage product phase-outs and inventory aging
EXPERIENCE
● Bachelor's/Master's degree from a premier institute
● Minimum 3 years of experience in Planning
● Minimum of 2 years in a managerial role
● Prior experience in FMCG, E-commerce, or large-scale supply chain operations is preferred
● Strong preference for candidates with experience in demand forecasting, analytics, and supply chain
strategy
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Functional:
● Deep understanding of S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process
● Expertise in demand forecasting models and statistical analysis
● Experience in inventory management, supply planning, and logistics network design
● Proficient in analytics tools and SCM technologies
● Exposure to warehouse, distribution, and route optimization models
Behavioral:
● Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
● Problem-solving ability with attention to detail
● Entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability
● Collaborative mindset and ability to influence across functions
● Deep ownership and ability to work under pressure
