Loan Operations Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to ensure timely fulfillment of service level agreements (SLAs).

Job Purpose:

The primary objective of this role is to review and verify commercial loan documentation, extracting key terms and conditions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter loan details into the system of record, including borrower entities, guarantor entities, interest rates, repayment schedules, accruals, collateral, and other relevant information.
  • Translate complex loan structures and documentation into actionable data for the system.
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients on all servicing-related activities, including advances, payments, rate changes, and system postings.
  • Monitor and perform system input for timely administration of rate options, borrowing base adjustments, reduction to revolver schedules, and facility utilization changes.
  • Collaborate with agent banks to balance and resolve portfolio issues.
  • Process daily research and maintenance requests from lending officers and clients, performing necessary analysis and system input.
  • Review and balance daily reconciliation reports for general ledger activity tied to loan servicing.
  • Analyze loan documentation and respond to client inquiries regarding loan balances, rates, statements, advances, and payments.
