Job Title: Building Information Modelling Specialist

Our team is seeking a highly skilled BIM structural draftsman to collaborate with our structural engineering department. As a BIM modelling specialist, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings based on engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex BIM models using Revit and other software tools.
  • Work closely with architects, MEP, and other disciplines to ensure model consistency and accuracy.
  • Produce high-quality shop drawings, detailed sections, and reinforcement detailing as needed.
  • Manage BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Adhere to industry standards, local codes, and company policies.
  • Contribute to clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or similar software.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control of drafted output and manage revisions effectively.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a structural draftsman with significant use of BIM/Revit.
  • Proficiency in Revit Structure, AutoCAD, and familiarity with Navisworks.
  • Strong understanding of structural systems (RC, steel, post-tensioning) and detailing standards.
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
