Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manufacturing Professional to lead our manufacturing vertical, responsible for developing and expanding a robust network of suppliers, driving production planning, ensuring quality and cost efficiency, and building a scalable business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and expand the contract manufacturing network across multiple regions.
  • Identify, onboard, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost competitiveness, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
  • Establish Standard Operating Procedures for production planning, quality control, and capacity management.
  • Oversee the execution of high-value customer orders from start to finish, maintaining strong operational control.
  • Own the vertical's Profit & Loss statement, striving to improve margins, optimize working capital, and scale the order book.
  • Build a team of vendor development, operations, and quality professionals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore opportunities for product customization and value engineering.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Strong exposure to contract manufacturing/job work models with proven experience in scaling manufacturing networks.
  • 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of fabrication, machining, casting, assembly, and related manufacturing processes.
  • Proven ability to manage P&L, drive margins, and optimize costs.
  • Strong understanding of ferrous materials, fabrication processes, and industrial applications.
  • Proven track record in launching and scaling new product lines and categories.
  • Established network of suppliers and manufacturing partners.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability.
