Job Title: Senior Director of Transport Planning

Location: Gurugram

Reports to: Executive Director

Department: Transportation Consultancy

Role Overview:

  • Develop and execute strategies for transportation growth in India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East
  • Lead client engagements with public and private sector entities across the region
  • Promote CRISIL as a thought leader through insights, policy white papers, and speaking engagements

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation Leadership & Strategy
  • Develop and implement transport strategies for infrastructure development and project financing
  • Liaise with clients, government agencies, and industry stakeholders to drive business growth
  • Design and deliver consulting services for infrastructure projects across various sectors
Project Delivery & Oversight
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of consulting assignments, including feasibility studies, transaction advisory, and project structuring
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality results aligned with client expectations
Career Development
  • Mentor and develop a team of consultants and transport specialists
  • Promote knowledge sharing and capability building across the practice

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Postgraduate degree in Engineering, Urban/Transport Planning, Economics, or Public Policy from a reputable institution
  • Mandatory experience in roads and highways development with significant exposure to multilateral-funded projects
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong network of contacts in senior leadership roles across public and private sector entities
