Job Title: Strategic Plant Finance Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled finance professional to lead our plant's financial operations. As a strategic plant finance leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the plant's financial performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial insights to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets that align with the plant's overall business objectives;
  • Manage and oversee the plant's accounting and reporting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance;
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly and annual financial statements;
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior management, audit committees, and external auditors;
  • Provide strategic financial guidance and support to the plant head and other business leaders to inform decision-making and drive business growth;
  • Lead initiatives to improve financial efficiency and reduce costs through process improvements and technology enhancements;
  • Oversee the development and implementation of internal controls and risk management policies and procedures to ensure compliance and protect the organization's assets;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies and projects that align with the plant's goals and objectives;
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry trends to ensure the plant remains compliant and competitive.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation;
  • Minimum 18 years of experience in managing large plant finance and accounting functions, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving business results;
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP/HANA 4.0 or above, with expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis;
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines;
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation;
  • Results-driven with a strong sense of accountability and ownership;
  • Proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills;
  • Knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and financial statement preparation.
