About the Role

As a seasoned international relations professional, you will be responsible for shaping the organisation's global engagement strategy.

This strategic leadership role exists to position the organisation as a premier representative of Indian industry in the international arena. You will foster global partnerships and enhance India's trade and investment opportunities in alignment with national economic priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement an international strategy to boost India's global influence.
  2. Build and sustain relationships with foreign governments, multilateral organizations, and global chambers to advance trade and investment opportunities.
  3. Drive programs for market access, investment facilitation, and international business cooperation to deliver tangible outcomes for Indian industry.
  4. Ensure global engagements reinforce India's domestic economic and policy objectives.
  5. Develop revenue streams through collaborations, sponsorships, and projects to ensure financial sustainability of international initiatives.
Requirements

A master's degree in international relations, public policy, economics, or a related field is required. A PhD or equivalent international policy exposure is preferred.

You should have 25-30 years of progressive leadership experience in trade, diplomacy, global economic policy, or senior roles in government/industry bodies with extensive international exposure.
