R&D Formulation Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled R&D developer to formulate innovative makeup and skincare products that meet international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new formulations that align with industry trends and regulatory guidelines.
  • Research and introduce new ingredients, technologies, and formulations to create cutting-edge products.
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure formulations are safe, effective, and compliant with global market regulations.
  • Collaborate with product development, marketing, and manufacturing teams for seamless transitions from concept to production.
  • Document and report all formulations, tests, and results accurately.
  • Evaluate formulations against international regulatory guidelines, including FDA and EU standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1-4 years of experience in cosmetic formulation and product development, with a focus on makeup and skincare products.
  • Strong knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, formulations, and testing methods.
  • The ability to set up or manage R&D laboratories, including equipment selection and protocol development.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for product innovation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
