Job Description

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch, ensuring smooth and efficient business processes while achieving operational targets. This role involves managing staff, customer relations, sales, marketing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Branch Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the branch, ensuring all activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.
  • Manage branch staff and ensure they follow operational procedures and deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Ensure the branch complies with all regulatory guidelines and health & safety standards.
Sales & Business Development

This role requires developing and executing strategies to achieve branch sales targets, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and cross-selling opportunities. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the branch team in meeting sales goals, implementing promotional campaigns, and organizing events to increase visibility.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture within the branch by ensuring high-quality service, prompt resolution of complaints, and proactive customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and potential business partners.
Staff Management & Development

This role involves managing the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of branch staff. Ensure continuous development of the team through training, mentoring, and performance feedback.

Responsibilities:
  • Motivate staff to meet performance targets, enhance their skill set, and ensure a positive work environment.
  • Manage the branch budget, expenses, and financial performance to ensure cost-effective operations and profitability.
Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure the branch operates within the scope of all legal, regulatory, and company requirements. Conduct regular audits to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and financial accuracy.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify potential risks (operational, financial, or reputational) and take corrective actions as needed.
Marketing & Brand Promotion

C coordinate local marketing initiatives, campaigns, and events to promote the company's services/products. Represent the company in local community events and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor customer feedback and market trends to fine-tune marketing strategies for branch growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.

A Master's degree or relevant certifications is a plus. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in branch operations, management, or a similar role.

Proven experience in managing teams, achieving sales targets, and enhancing customer service.

Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices in branch operations.

Technical skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and branch management software.

Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze data and trends.

Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
